Chocolate and Peanut Butter are one of my favorite combinations. So I had to make these for a family party. So delicious and would be perfect to make for Valentine's Day. Here's the link to the recipe

Chicken Marsala Mac&Cheese

I love this take on Macaroni and Cheese, the pancetta was great in it and I love the sauce for this. A different take on Mac & Cheese and a filling dinner. This is a great dinner to make after a long day at work. I made extra chicken when I made some for work so I had cooked chicken ready to go for this recipe. Here's the link or this delicious dinner

Milk Chocolate Pudding

I love pudding, but usually get the box mix to make it, this recipe was so quick and easy I can't wait to make it again. This was delicious and so much better than that instant pudding you pick up at the market. Makes a perfect dessert or snack, even be cute for a party in those mini dessert cups. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats

I'm currently doing 5am shifts at work helping with a remodel at a local store. So I've been trying to get together smoothies and overnight oats so I can just grab them in the morning and eat when I get to work. I love pumpkin and had some left over from a smoothie so this recipe was perfect. I added some dark chocolate chips I had and can't wait to eat this in the morning. Snowmagedon January 2015

We got hit with a Blizzard - got 18 inches of snow in my area, further east they got even more. Luckily we were able to get out of work at 4pm tomorrow (thanks to the governor issuing a travel ban for later in the night) and it was so bad the store was closed today. I helped Kyle clear the driveway, he uses the snow blower and I shovel areas the snow blower can't get to. I also move our jeeps so he can snow blow around them. The snow drifts were crazy with this storm, almost as high as me. We also had to knock a bunch of snow down that was hanging off our back roof. I hope this is our only big storm for the season, I'm counting down the days to spring. Princess is our supervisor from the front door and I guess we were boring her because she fell asleep.

Italian Wedding Soup

It has been really cold here and I'm counting down the days to spring. Until then it's that time of year to make soups and stews. This was very filling and delicious. I took some extra to work for lunch, the carrots I was lucky to get at a local winter farmers market. Here's the link to the soup

Scrapbook Pages

Had to use the new Stampin Up stamp set I bought off ebay. I saw a card with it on Pinterest and fell in love with the set. This is the first time I'm using the set and can't wait to again

Pictures from the July 2013 Bon Jovi Concert we went to. My favorite band and I love going to see them whenever they're local

Chocolate Peppermint Spinach Smoothie

I love trying new smoothies to bring to work so I'm always looking for new recipes on pinterest. Since I had peppermint in the house this was a great one to make. I haven't had peppermint in a smoothie before and this was delicious. Will make this recipe again soon. I used frozen banana instead of ice cubes since I had some in my freezer. Chocolate Smore Cookies

I love smores so when I saw this recipe I had to try it. I sprinkled some graham cracker crumbs on top of mine and added a few more marshmallows on top. These were really good and the perfect smore for winter. Here's the link to the recipe

Skinny Fettuccini Alfredo

I'm an everything in moderation girl and since the healthier version of this I prefer to the regular version why not use the healthier version instead and treat myself with something else I prefer the regular version of like a cupcake. I made this with chicken I grilled (indoor grill pan, too cold to grill outside) and it was delicious. Kyle couldn't even tell this was a healthier version. Here's the link to this great side dish

Flourless Healthy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I didn't grind my oats as finely as the recipe states because that is a personal prefence of mine. These are amazing and definitely hit that craving you get for sweets. I didn't add chocolate chunks to mine, just dark chocolate chips and added some vanilla. Here's the link to the recipe

Shepherd's Pie Soup

I didn't add peas to mine just because I'm not that big a fan of them. I added some mushrooms to mine and the mash is a mixture of parsnip and potatoes. This time of year I love these comfort food type recipes and this made a bunch so was great for lunch leftovers for work. I think I may try a version of this similiar to the turkey/sweet potato shepherd's pie I make. Here's the link to this soup recipe

London 2015

I was lucky enough to be able to go to England last week to attend the wedding of my brother and sister in law. Had an amazing time sightseeing and everyone we encountered was so nice. Was great to meet her family and friends I haven't met and see those again I've met before. I can't wait to go back and explore some more. The coffee was amazing, I love that they steam the milk, I love my coffee and was so excited to get so many great cups while in England. We stayed in London, not far from Big Ben and took the train a little over an hour to the wedding location. What a beautiful event location, it had 2 levels and I love how you could go upstairs and look at everyone having fun below. I had my first scotch egg in London and loved it, have to try and make one myself. I probably won't be scrapping my photos for awhile from my trip since I have a backlog of photos, so I wanted to share a few here. If you've never been to London you definitely have to visit and if you ever get a chance to go to an International wedding make sure to go.
