I made this with the chicken I posted yesterday.
- 1 box of elbows, shells or other pasta of your choice
- 1/2 cup butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 lb of your favorite cheeses (either shred or cube up so they melt quickly)
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp italian spices
- Preheat oven to 350 and get your baking dish greased and ready to go.
- Cook pasta about 2 minutes less than box directions and set aside.
- In saucepan melt butter, add salt and pepper.
- Stir in flour till completely combined.
- Slowly whisk in wine and milk and bring to a boil while whisking on and off.
- Add cheese and stir till melted
- Combine with pasta and pour in baking dish
- Sprinkle top with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and italian spices.
- Let bake about 30 minutes and let cool slightly before serving.
