- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped toasted pecans
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- In a lg bowl beat butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar till combined.
- Beat in water, vanill and flour till combined.
- Stir in pecans
- Cover, chill about an hour till dough is firm.
- Preheat oven to 325
- Shape dough into 1" balls
- Place 1" apart on cookie sheets
- Bake about 15 minutes, until bottoms are lightly browned.
- Tranfer to wire racks to cool
- Place 1 cup powdered sugar in ziploc bag
- Add cookies in batches and gently shake to coat.
