Zebra Bundt Cake

I loved bundt cakes, not sure what it is about them, maybe it's because they remind me of my grandma. This was a great recipe and can't wait to make this again. Frosted Sugar Cookies

These were a great sugar cookie that was easy to make. Next time since they are such a sturdy cookie I'm going to use this recipe to make cookie lollipops. Next time you need some festive cookies I'd definitely make these. Here's the link:

Buttermilk Waffles

I love those mornings that Kyle and I are both off and I can make us breakfast, doesn't seem to happen often enough. I love our waffle maker and when I saw this recipe I knew I had to try it. Was amazing and will be our go to recipe from now on when we make waffles. I made a few extra to heat up this week for breakfast at work. Today is Mother's Day and it's a tough day for those of us in the infertility/loss community. So try to keep all women in your thoughts today - those moms to babies here with them, those who carry their babies in their hearts, moms to furbabies, stepmoms, foster moms and any wonderful woman who has been a mother figure in someones life.

Gift Bag with Matching Card



Made this matching gift bag and card for a Mother's Day present. I used two coordinating patterned papers, and a few embellishements. Was quick and I love giving personalized bags with a matching card. The kraft bag I got in a set at Michaels.

Eggplant Rollatini

I made these a little different this time, didn't use sauce on this, but did melt mozzarella on top and sprinkle with parsley I had. Here is the recipe I used:

Chicken Francese Meatballs

 

 

This is a great sauce to put on your favorite chicken meatballs. Tasted just like my favorite dish chicken francese and was a unique twist to meatballs.

 

• Cooked chicken meatballs
• 1 lemon, thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup dry white wine
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1 lemon, juiced
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1/4 cup chopped parsley

1. Toss the lemon slices in a saucepan over medium heat and cook 1-2 minutes
2. Add the wine, chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Roll the butter in flour and add to sauce to thicken it
4. Add meatballs into sauce in saucepan, cook a few minutes and make sure you roll the meatballs in the sauce so they are coated.
5. Top with parsley and enjoy. You can also make extra sauce and serve with pasta.
