This is a great sauce to put on your favorite chicken meatballs. Tasted just like my favorite dish chicken francese and was a unique twist to meatballs.
- Cooked chicken meatballs
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Toss the lemon slices in a saucepan over medium heat and cook 1-2 minutes
- Add the wine, chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Roll the butter in flour and add to sauce to thicken it
- Add meatballs into sauce in saucepan, cook a few minutes and make sure you roll the meatballs in the sauce so they are coated.
- Top with parsley and enjoy. You can also make extra sauce and serve with pasta.
Is there a recipe for the chicken meatballs? I see only the sauce. Thank you.
