Snickerdoodles


  • 1 cup softened btter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  1. Beat butter for 30 seconds. 
  2. Add the 1 1/2 cups sugar baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Beat till combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla till combined.
  4. Beat in the four till combined. 
  5. Cover and chill 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375. In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. 
  7. Roll dough into 1 1/4'' balls and roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
  8. Place 2'' apart on baking sheets.
  9. Bake 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly brown.
  10. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
