Snickerdoodles
- 1 cup softened btter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Beat butter for 30 seconds.
- Add the 1 1/2 cups sugar baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Beat till combined.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla till combined.
- Beat in the four till combined.
- Cover and chill 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375. In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon.
- Roll dough into 1 1/4'' balls and roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
- Place 2'' apart on baking sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly brown.
- Transfer to wire rack to cool.
